Hello guys.  Sorry I have not updated my log in a few weeks.  After the june 28 meet, I took a week off, trained twice the next week, another week off for vacation, then have put in two good weeks leading up to this week.  Am doing the usapl miss. state meet this sat, the 25th.  Have two videos here of my planned 1st attempt for this meet.  used a reinforced F6 for each attempt, but am thinking about just using my super katana that is probably broken in better.  any thoughts/critiques are very welcome.  Thanks

My results from usapl mississippi state meet

Weighed in at 226. Felt good going in.

1st:  took 505 on first attempt, locked it out, but was turned down 2-1 for my head coming off the bench. From the video, I can't tell.  You can judge for yourself.  I hate that rule!

2nd: retook the 505, but my shirt slipped up on my chest and had no real pop and could not lock it out. Feeling like pure crap at this point.

3rd: last chance. took the 505 again and GOT IT!!!! 3 whites! Was not too bad this time. pulled my super katana down on the chest more and got the good pop off the chest I needed and mashed it to lockout.

*Things learned: 3 meets in two or so months is probably too much. Needed more training time. Should have done much better than this, but accomplished one of my goals for this meet which was to bench 500+ in a usapl meet. Proud of that. I already have the 220 bench only state record, so no big deal. Have had a great two months as far as meets go. Sets three state records in the spf and wabdl, and 1 national and 1 world record in the spf, and bench 500+ in all three meets including a all time pr of 535 in the wabdl meet and got my first best lifter in that same meet.
