Sorry, Wilmer, I cant help you here either.

To me, diet and supplementation (from the perspective of a powerlifter) play a supporting role to training. It needs to help support your training. How can they support training? It can provide fuel for energy systems, enhance recovery, etc. None of these is directly strength improvement, but it supports training, which is directly strength improvement.

I dont mean to leave you empty handed, so I would offer you this suggestion; spend time researching and developing a performance-based diet (of which Im no expert), then fill in any holes through supplementation (sounds desceptively simple). While youre working that out, make sure all your lifting is well-programmed and makes sense, then execute on the plan. Youll see 100 times more strength gained using this method than you will by popping any miracle supplement.

I like about 6 grams of beta-alanine, and 5 grams of Creatine before or during training.

I like to mix this in with your typical amino acid drink and sip it during my workout.

I truly find this helps me recover in between sets and take shorter rest periods in between sets.

Another thing about Beta-Alanine is that you will want to get it in powder form instead of pill form. You get wayyy more bang for the buck that way.

I buy a tiny little tub of it and it takes me a year and a half to go through it.

Hi guys,
Here is the exact brand that I use. I am not exaggerating on how long this small container lasts. The powder is very dense compared to say Glutamine, and I only use 3 of these tiny scoops per training day (they recommend 4).

http://www.primaforce.com/prima_betaal.htm

You should be able to find this product in most supplement stores, but maybe not GNC or places like that. It should be easy to locate.

If for some reason you cannot find this where you are, my friend up here in Canada will ship to the United States for 10$, and it would arrive in 7 days (you would have an advantage with the stronger American $)

Anyways - I sure hope that I am not trying to come across as a Beta-Alanine Salesman. There is lots of good information out there to be found for you to make your own descisions on dosages and usage.

Not to slight Chris's friend, but we could always go this route (I'm kind of embarrassed I didn't think of it sooner...)
