Looks like you're making some progress. Have you changed your training up a bit?

Thanks for noticing my PR!

At times I get down on myself for improving so slowly. I really wanna set records someday and I hope I get that chance. Even if I dont, I'll just keep trying my hardest, thats all I can do I figure. Well take care everybody and thanks so much for reading my logs.

Hahaha. Thanks Bob. The way I was benching last week got me down. Having a good spotter can help. I think that was the difference and me wanting to prove myself after a crappy benching week last week. Thanks Bob. :)

deadlifts (conventional)

225X8
315X3
365X3
385X3
405X3 (very hard set, had to bust it)

front squats

205X6
225X6

Romanian deadlifts aka RDLs
135X10
225X10

ab crunch machine (cybex)
110X15
110X15
110X15
110X15
110X15 ( I breezed through the ab work, Im going to have to up the weight next time, it was too easy)
This workout took me roughly about 2 hours.

Then I went home and walked 1.5 miles.

I still had some energy after my walk so I went to my basement and got a 25 pound dumbell and did 10 sets of 10 reps for each arm, bicep curls. Thats it for today.

Thats it for today. Took me about 2 hours. I usually get bombarded with spot requests on Fridays but only had to give one spot today. Not many people at the gym today as today was a warm sunny day. I was glad because I wasnt bsing and spotting and was able to get a great workout. Everybody seems to bench on Fridays at my gym. Its not fun spotting everybody that asks but I think its rude to say no. Well I am so looking forward to taking tomorow and Sunday off my lower back is killing me. Take care and thanks for reading everybody.

Heres what I did today:

raw squats
135X10
225X6
325X1
345X1
365X1
385X1
405X1
405X1 (went beyond parallel this time)

sumo deadlifts
135X12
225X10
315X6
405X2

pause squats (pause 3 seconds in the hole)
135X10
225X8
275X6
315X4

cybex ab crunch machine
130X15
130X15
130X15
130X15
130X15
130X15

Thats it for today. I mowed grass for 2 hours. Is that cardio? Ha! I guess I should be happy with my 405 squat raw but Im not. It's a record for me but it seems so mediocre. I cant believe I've been at this **** for 12 years and thats as far as I've got. I guess I should be happy but Im not. Well thats it for today.

Heres what I did today.

bench press
barX12
135X12
225X6
275X2
315X1
335X1
345X1
355X0 (just missed, couldnt lock it out)

close grip bench
135X12
185X10
225X6
235X5
245X5

standing military presses
135X10
145X8
155X6
160X6
165X5

barbell rows
135X10
185X10
205X8
225X6
245X6

Thats it for today. My bench is slowly making progress. In October I was benching 375X1 so I'm trying to get back there and push ahead to 400 pounds. I dont understand why my bench regressed so much a month or two ago I was struggling to get 315X1 and 325X1. Maybe perhaps training bench twice a week is too much for me. Im not sure about that. I think Im taking tomorrow off. Thanks to everyone who read this.

Congrats on the skwat PR, Mike. Nothing to be not happy about. Think about it for a second: you put a bar, weighing 405 lbs on your shoulders, and you squatted with it. Then, you did it again!

There's not many people in the world who can say they did that.
