I have been training north of Indianapolis Indiana in Noblesville and been having a hard time finding a gym. Does anybody know of a place that allows powerlifting and won't bitch about chalk or noise? Thanks!

Jason

Sorry man I dont know any gyms in that area. But sometimes commercial gyms can be alright places to powerlift. I didnt have much hope in my current gym when I joined about 5 years ago. But I wipe up my chalk mess on the floor when Im done and I dont swear outloud when Im lifting. Theyve been pretty cool to me there. I only got yelled at twice by the old women working there for dropping weights. Sometimes a place is what you make of it. I do know one person that may be able to help you though. His name is Rick Brewer and he writes for Powerlifting USA magazine. His email is Rick@houseofpain.com. He writes a monthly article on a different hardcore powerlifting gym each month. He did his 85th installment of it last month. If theres somebody that would know about hardcore powerlifting gyms in your area, it would be him.
