My name is Eric Talmant and I am sponsored by Elite Fitness Systems and METAL Sport & Wear. http://asp.elitefts.com/qa/training-logs.asp?tid=138&__N=Eric%20Talmant. I am training for the Cincinnati Power Station Pro/Am where I hope to total 1400+ raw at 165 and go from #2 to #1 on the Powerlifting Watch Overall rankings. I train according to the Sheiko System. I am also the founder and meet director of the Raw Unity Meet/Raw Unity Powerlifting Championships.
I was a WPO competitor in the lightweight division and I have a passion for all things nutrition. I am a Certified Metabolic Typing instructor http://www.mt-advisors.info/EditIndex.php and live in rural Spring Hill, Florida, north of Tampa.
I have competed in the ADFPA, NASA, AAPF, APF, APA, and the WPO, and currently hold the APF Florida state mens open squat record of 678 pounds. I am currently ranked 2rd in the 75K class among all raw lifters in the United States.
My best raw lifts to date are 480 pound squat without knee wraps, 290 pound bench press, and 635 pound deadlift.
I hope to spread the word and answer questions about how I train (Sheiko programming) as well as the Raw Unity Championships concept.
I will post links to my log at Elitefts.com and will be happy to answer any questions you may have over there.
I like the fact that you're including more comments in your logs, Eric! Even if the stuff is subjective, it makes it interesting.
Well, this is perhaps the toughest programming that we have done for a competition and so here and there I will give folks a larger glimpse into my thoughts concerning my own training. Normally this is reserved for just my coach, massage therapist, etc.
