SSB Squats, what are they good for

Since I have never used a SSB I am unsure of how they feel....or what they help strengthen.

For those that use the SSB, why do you use it...and what weakness does it correct???

There is one for sale....dont know if I should buy it

Any sort of back weakness. The bar tries to roll you up and you have to work your back extra hard to keep it straight.

We have been using the SSB now for about 2 months. Like Mike said you really have to fight to keep your form, arch etc. thereby using back(and ab) muscles you've never used before. Awesome piece of equipment. Not to mention it's pretty easy on the shoulders.
