Thanks guys! I would do even better if I was somewhat motivated. Haha still struggling with lifting. My head would rather be at the golf course or doing other things. Oh well, gotta stick with it.

100's x M WTF!! Almost dropped to dumbbell on my head with my right arm. I can do this weight for 15-19 reps at my best and I couldnt even get a sinlge rep with it. I dont know what is up.

I am pretty confused as to what is happening lately. From a sore back, to this, to that. Now a dead shoulder?I dont have a single clue what is going on. My bench was doing well, now since last pressing day my shoulder is not firing or something. I have no discomfort or any sort of tell-tale signs that something is off. My shoulders both get a good pump, both feel strong and now the one just isnt working. Any ideas on what might be going on would be great. Getting me pretty concerned since I want to compete somewhat soon here!

Squats- I stood on 10 pound plates for all of my sets to imitate the adistars that I have on the way with the 1" heel. Only problem with the new form is that I feel like i squat too deep, if that is even possible. 585 is down along ways from my previous 625, but it probably had 6 inches more depth. I cannot use any stretch reflex out of the hole since this new squatting tecnique feels so foreign. It will only get better with time though.

Deficit deads- I used a 4.5" platform with double stacked 45 pound plates that were side by side, so 4 plates total for the added height on top of the platform. I worked up too 500, and on my first single with it (still light compared to what i planned on going too) I got about hal;f way through the rep and the plates slid apart from one another like they were on ice. I did the splits somewhat and bailed and had the barbell fall right on the outside of my sock with some mean force. Doesn't get any closer to that to getting a serious injury. I called it there since I was pretty sketched about the situation.

Leg press- Groin was a little stretched from the fall but I felt good on the press. 9 plates per side for 10 was heavy, took some mind over matter but I got through it. I was only going to do 5 and call it but I had more power than usual so i went for it.

Hey Jordan
Do you think you may have pinched something in your shoulder or surrounding when you were equipped squatting the other day?
Maybe a good chiro might be able to help you?

I can probably give you some advice, but I would need to see a picture of you in some saran wrap underwear to really be able to tell what is going on.

I couldn't tell ya what I did. I don't think it would be from equipped, but you never know. Only thing I can say is that it was fine one day and the next day it wasn't working. LOL. I is super wierd though. Just testing it today, I lifted off 225, which feels like an empty bar in my left hand, and my right arm is shaking trying to support it. I am going to go and see my doctor to get an x-ray to bring to the chiro. That way you use medical for the4 x-ray and bypass the 300 dollar bill.

As for the saran wrap underwear, my wife made the suggestion that perhaps I throw some of her lingerie on. She said it really defines my glutes. Mike T would like that since he likes glute talk. LOL.

Dude does your arm feel heavy when its just hanging at your side? Maybe throw in some external rotations to help strengthen your rotator cuff, i had a similar problem years ago and after doing more ext rotations and also power cleans i havent had a problem since.

Tony,
I have zero pain or discomfort out of my shoulder/arm. It actually feels really strong. It just lacks any power when I go to press. I can move my arm and shoulder in every single position without any pain. I am not sure but I dont think it is rotator cuff problems. Sort of leaning towards a pinched nerve.

Got my new adistars in today. Crazy shoes with crazy heels. I now see why these were over 300 bucks the time they got to my door. I feel like a woman with my newfound love for shoes!

Ok, that is a good tip. I am wearing them right now to break them in and I thought maybe I was supposed to order a different width since they are very, very tight. Glad to hear they loosen.

Bench- Well It was pretty obvious that my shoulder is not getting any better with the rehab work that I have been attempting. I have lost atleast 120 pounds off of my raw press in a matter of 1 workout since my shoulder stopped working. I have a doctors appointment but I still have a while to wait before I can get in. He is really busy.

On a better note my new Adidas Adistars showed up today! I took a video of a squat with my old adidas with 135 pounds on the bar to see how deep I could get, then I wore the adistars and did a rep. Pretty fantastic result. I felt very, very balanced with these shoes on. I haven't done any weight in them but they felt great on!

Old adidas. They look like they have a heel but are perfectly flat. Just the look of the shoe. Very squishy walkouts too.

Haha looks like I got about 4 inches more depth. Both were as low as my body would let me go. And NOOO i do not shave my legs.

Yeah sounds more like a nerve impingment, most likely at the supraspinatus tendon.  Sometimes if there is a spasm there it can entrap the nerve.  Does your shoulder spontaneously spasm at all throughout the day? Mine used to do that all the time.  Maybe the mechanics of the shoulder got messed up along the way but see what the doctor says.  By the way, i wouldnt say by the looks of the video you shave your legs, thats def a wax job!
