Offseason lifting

In a month, I will be over 30 weeks out from competition.

I have lost a lot of fat from a diet, and I am kinda hoping to 'bulk up' again...but this time muscle and not fat.

Should I keep training as normal...or can I adjust my training to add a bit more mass.

I was thinking maybe doing more 5 and 4 @10 in every exercise in the volume blocks. Increasing the training time.

Any thoughts???

Or should I keep training as normal and eat more?

If it was me, I'd break that in two. Your next meet is more than 6 months away? I'd have you train for a gym competition or something because, IMO, that's going too long without getting into the very heavy weights.

As far as trying to build more mass...
I'd keep training somewhat normal. If you want to build mass, that's fine, but I'm sure you wouldn't want to do that at the expense of strength. So, in that sense, I'd keep the weights fairly heavy so it's consistent with strength building. You can reduce the intensity some and increase the volume and that should help, while not totally changing emphasis.
