Could you still do RTS with different main lifts?

Like, say instead of bench press, squat, and deadlift; could you do bench press, box squat, and knee level rack pulls?

The reason I ask is that I have a very bad back that does not like the free squat often, and absolutely hates pulls from the floor.

However, could the same principles of your book be applied to lifts that are similiar but different?

Thanks

Yes, absolutely you can use RTS with different main lifts. You could even use it with bodybuilding, Olympic lifting, or whatever. If you decided you care about how much you can barbell curl and calf raise, you can still use RTS with those movements.

Its not so much about what lifts youre doing as much as it is an application of principles

Cool, I was actually thinking of trying to create a powerlifting/olympic lifting hybrid for an off-season mesocycle.

Is that possible to do and make gains in both?

Yes, I would say so. But I've never done it, so it's uncharted territory. Keep a log here if you want and I'll do my best to help.

Yes, you can make gains on both, but neither will be as good as if you focused on it.
