Bands for benching.

I am going to order some bands for bench since they seem to help a large ammount with deads and squats, question is though what to buy. I am not familiar with bands for benching and was wondering what the common band to use is. I see minis used often, and sometimes doubled I think. Should I order two sets of minis, or is there a better variation I should use?

Minis are the ones to use for benching, the red ones get very heavy unless your bench is near the 400 mark.

What I did was get 2 minis, 2 red and 2 blue that way you can combine them to make about every combination you need or want. But for benching with the bands attached at the bottom I mostly use the minis.

I got a full set from Iron Woody, and I would definitely suggest that as the way to go. It is a little over $100 for mini's (plain), super mini's (red), lights (blue), average (green), and strong (black)

I always suggest doubled bands for benching and I'd start with mini's. Use light bands if you're a strong bencher, but mini's are a good place to start.

Jordan, this is probably the best thing to do.  That way you'll have bands of all strengths to use for heavier tensions and reverse band exercises.  Plus you'll have some heavier ones fro squats/deads.
