Olympic Squats?

Hi Everybody. I was reading through Mike Tuchscherer's book again and one of the exercise suggestions was Olympic Squats. Is that the same as a front squat? Im assuming its just a fancy word for front squat. Anyway I wanted to do these because I am always looking for new ways to do squats. I know I gotta change stuff up if I want results. Anyway his book is a must read for anybody that hasnt read it yet. I got mine from Titan Support Systems Inc. The other places that carry it are listed on here. I highly recommend it.

Olympic squats typically refer to a back squat done with the bar placed higher, a narrow stance, and a more upright posture.

They're typically contrasted with a powerlifting squat, which has a lower bar position, a much wider stance, and forward lean.

Hope that helps.
