Close Grip Bench Press + pp 150x6@6.5 200x6@8 250x7@10
Overall not a bad session tonight. I didn't bench as much as I wanted to, but it was over 100 degrees that day. My estimated 1rm is just over 600 still so that's a good thing.
Chain squats went much better than last week's 405x5@10. I was thankful for that.
I let my ego get in the way on the band presses. Live and learn.
i've decided not to put your shirt on anymore when it's that hot. it looked like you just got out of a pool and you hadn't done anything yet. i feel sorry for you on friday putting mine on.
We'd have to have a window for that. Right now all we have is a hole in the wall covered by a flat piece of wood that one of our members cut a latched door into. If you look at some of my videos, you may see it in the background. Its totally Jerry Rigged.

Overall this was a good session considering that I trained on base. The squat was a pretty big PR. Maybe my equipped squat is higher than previously thought. I didn't have handoffs, but I still did ok considering the strangeness of this movement. Benching off of low pins teaches you to put your lats into the press...very cool.
Dude, be careful with low pins. Every time I've ever strained my pecs, it's been off low pins. Dave Tate told me not to do them for the same reason, but I was hard headed and did it anyway. I don't think it's inherently flawed, but there's a few things that it's imperitive that you do:
1) stay super tight in the bottom. Tight like you're afraid of being loose. 2) Squeeze the bar off the pins -- don't blast it off.

Yeah Dude...I totally agree. I have them programmed in for only 3 weeks. This coming week being the third. I just really like the way they teach my lats to help with the pop and press off the chest.
You are definitely right about the staying tight part. I haven't been doing that, so I'll work a little harder on that...
Close Grip Bench Press + pp 150 x6 @6 200 x6 @7 250 x6 @8 I am done with these and switching to 2 board presses next week.
Really good session today. My raw squat and equipped bench are back up to their top end level. I feel really good. The benches were awesome and I feel that I am regulating my stress much more effectively. I've made a few mistakes in the past few weeks, but I am really starting to understand this new stress waving programming. I think that my raw squat without a belt is slowly approaching...575!!!
Suit Deadlift - no belt 475 x3 @7 525 x3 @8 560 x4 @10...hands slipped due to sweat 530 x2 @8
Good Morning - no belt 275 x6 @7 325 X6 @7 375 X8 @8
Benching felt way better than last week. I did see a strength spike today. The last couple of week have been hard getting accustomed to the frequency, but I am turning that around. Deadlifts went way better than last week and I am starting to get used to the suit...not comfortable by any means, but its getting better. Plus the suit is big, so I don't know if I am getting anything out of it. Good mornings just keep getting better.
Overall, not too bad. Pr'd in the squat again, but not in the bench press. Not too sure whats happening. Maybe the heat and the frequency is slowing it down. But that is OK.
I don't have nearly as much time to be online and really give a good synopsis of my training. Beth and I are really looking into homes here lately, so a lot of my extra time is going into that. Wish us luck!
