Really good session tonight. Big PR in the MIO ISO with room to spare! The Raw Squats were right on as well. I am please with the depth I am getting so far with the wider stance. I feel more stable and in control as well. Right now I am feeling really really good. I've been getting great sleep and feel like I am recovering even faster than before. Can't wait until thursday and friday's workouts!

Thanks Tony and Jordan! I do think that I am reaching 500. Hopefully I'll be beyond that before worlds.

Hey Brady, what size bench shirt were you recommending, I use the 42 which we talked about being "too small" did you suggest trying a 44 or 46 ?

I think it was a 44 if you were staying @198 and a 46 if you were going up to 220.  Let me know how they go.

Monday - Bench / Bench

Super Close Grip Bench Press

PRs all around.  They should be though.  Last week was medium stress and so is this week.  Next week will be high stress.

Holding 700 in my hands like that was great.  It was really heavy, but I think that mentally I won't be afraid of anything less now.  I just want to keep moving the weights up.  Hopefully will hit a small PR in this exercise next week.  Should be fun.

I definitely know that my triceps are getting stronger with a real close grip like that.  That is always a good sign for me as I am a tricep bencher.

Awesome job even holding 700. Pressing it is nuts. Hopefully you got a vid of that man. I would like to see that as would everyone else I imagine.

As a witness to the 700 and I can tell you it was unreal how light the weight looked in Brady's hands -talk about control!

480 x7 @9.5...a little deeper than last week

Deadlift - no belt
495 x7 @9-9.5

Raw 1 Board Press
500 x1 @9.5

Close Grip Bench Press + 200lbs chains
335 x1 @10

Seated Fat Bar Military Press
187lbs x6 @10

Overall really good week. I've done a lot of singles. Next week, the plan is higher stress. I won't be going for any @10s either.

Squats are going up!!! Next week I may try 505 for 7 reps. We'll see how that goes. If so, that would put my raw squat without a belt up to 600! After this meso, I'll be adding another lower body slot in. Should be fun.

Benches went as expected. The last couple weeks have been tough for MIOs. Just looking forward to Thursday.
