I'm looking forward to seeing how you set your equipped trainig up Eric. What shirt are you wearing?
Nothing fancy, Joel. I am doing a very basic program that Dave has used on countless numbers of lifters that compete in gear. No real tweaks or changes for me. Everything is very basic, standard, run-of-the mill.
We may change some things up in my competition cycle, but my preparatory cycle will have reduced volume (due to my re-acquaintance with gear and not knowing how my nervous system will react); as you will see.
Right now, I am wearing an NXG+ Katana. I may or may not (at some point) try out a NXG Super + Super Katana; but not right now.

Good stuff. I'm debating getting that exact same shirt myself. Have you ever worn an F6? Wondering how the NXG+ Katana compares.

I had a Super NXG+ Katana, but didn't like it.
I believe I wore an F6 back in 2005, and from what I can remember I believed I had trouble consistently touching low in it. However, that is just me and I believe I know a bit more about bar placement, etc. today then I did back then.
This shirt is also a S/S. I have some A/S Katana's coming, so when I get an opportunity to try them I will let you know what I think.

Definately looked good for the first time in the suit for a while, weight moved well.
One question, on your bench work, is that as tight of a shirt that you will wear or is that shirt just for training and you have a tighter one for the meet? Just seemed like 75% touched awfully easy for it to be a shirt that you will use in competition.

Thanks Eric.
It is just a training shirt that I am borrowing from Johnny (Vasquez). Titan is still working on my custom gear. I will post in my log when I have it, when I use it, how different it feels, etc.
Cool deal, i thought the chest plate was awful big for a shirt you might be using in competition, lol.
Wow 655 on dead, nice work Eric.
I noticed that your intensity this last week has been pretty high, just curious why because i thought your meet wasn't untill July, i haven't noticed you using high intensity like this so far out from a meet.
