Eric- emailed Dave with a rough draft/skeleton cycle I have in mind and am waiting to hear back from him, it looks very much like the training you have been doing the last couple months (higher intensity, moderate frequency).
Also, just listened to your interview at Critical Bench, that may have been the most entertaining one I have seen in quite some time! I agree with damn near everything you said, especially the "triple crown" event that was mentioned. I would love to see lifters compete raw, single, and multiply at separate meets, each 4 months apart. The winner of each class for each meet would get 1k, while the lifters with the highest "super-total" would get 10k. Not only would it generate enough income for lifters to actually afford their gear, but it would be by far the most prestigous title in powerlifting!
But like you said, as it stands now, such an event would be nearly impossible. First off, you could not have 10k going to lifters in 10 weight, because it is not only too much money, but also the competition is watered down. You would have to cut the classes in half, AT LEAST, but I would prefer 3 (light/middle/heavyweight). You would also need the TV coverage, high-end sponsors, etc., but I think it would be possible within the next 5 years. Hell, even if I couldn't qualify for the events I would still donate!
good luck eric hope you put up some solid numbers.
I was wondering if you could check out my deadlift vids on bmf's sheiko log under ufpower198. I was hoping you could help me with my form bc deadlifts are my weakness.
USPF Nationals: I had my suit straps taken in a total of about an inch on each side 2 days before the meet; and the result was that I bombed with 606 in the squat. It was a rookie mistake and I of course should not have done it. That is all I have to say about that.

I am glad that you liked the interview! It was fun to do it. I was probably a bit more candid in this one, since I have done a couple now.

Yeah that doesn't sound like the best idea in the world Eric.
