felt no inner drive today. Not sure why, just getting frustrated with training. also was pretty tired from my trip this weekend. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
1 and 3 board felt really good, especially the 3. don't think I set any pr's today, but definite improvement over earlier in the week. only had about 50 mins of training time today, so had to cut the plate raises shorter than I would have liked.
Sorry about not writing in my log for a while. Busy with work. Great day yesterday at the spf tri states meet in Louisiana. a token 235 squat was all I did on squats. Shoulder has been hurting when I get under the bar, so decided to save my energy for bench and deadlift. bench ended up with a 20lb pr with 505. deadlift, which has never been a great lift for me, I ended up with a 45 lb pr with 400 raw!!!!!! The bench was a spf single ply world record and the deadlift was a miss. state record as well. Totaled 1140, which is only 5 off my pr total, which I plan to destroy in Aug. at our state meet.

A good workout. Suit felt good but tight. Not sure how much it helped really. This is probably do to the fact I have never used one before today. Had some trouble getting air between reps, so just stuck to singles with the straps up. Thought they looked pretty good as far as my form goes. Yall can be the judge.
That was it. Just really wanted to try out my old double ply shirt I have not used in about a year. Getting another newer one worked on by Ken Anderson that should be ready and back by next week, so will use that one soon.
ok workout today. Not a great deal of sleep the last two or three nights. About to be done with school for the next 7-8 weeks, so should get a little more rest not having to get up at 5:45am every morning to go to work. Legs and back tomorrow.
*stopped here. My technique is just not right with the suit. Just not enough suit training. Still might just go raw, but at this point, may just concentrate on bench for this meet.

*last ME workout. Feel great about it. Shoulder started hurting after the 540 shirt rep, so tried the 560 but hurt a little more, so shut it down. Praise God!!! I had the meet of my life today!!!!!! To make a long story short, I got no sleep last night and still kicked butt today. Meet itself was great fun. Only 15 benchers and 10 deadlifters, but some great lifting and several first time guys who did really well. Here how it went for me:
1st: 496 killed it!
2nd: 510 called for 507 plus all the chips, so that made it 510. no prob!
3rd: 520 again, this was 518 plus all chips, a little off on the way up, but still no big deal.
4th: 535? called for 534.5 plus the small chips, so think this came up to 535. This was the funnest one of all. The girl that I got to video for me (and did a great job) got busy trying to help with the scorers table and forgot to tape this one!!!!!! YUCK!!!! SMOKE CITY!!!! Ken Anderson made the comment after I got up "are you warmed up now?"
So had a great day. Won 242 open and submaster division, set and broke the state records for both divisions 4 times, and won my first best lifter award. A great day indeed. And the best part is I have A LOT MORE.
