Hi Mike or anyone, Im wearing a single ply titan centurion squat suit to squat in for nx comp in 2 weeks, just wondering, can I use this wide stance squat suit to deadlift in?
Has anyone had any experience with it, cant get a deadlift suit for nx comp
I have a regular stance centurion and I don't like it to pull (but then again, I don't like any suit to pull in). Grant (who posts on this board) does wear centurions to pull sometimes. He might be the one to ask.
Grant please reply with your thoughts on the centurion side stance suit,
Ive work it before to deadlift in and thought it gave a spring thats when the suit was loser, now its mega tight as Ive grow into it, so yet to try it out, will do nx week though
Honestly i train in the centurian a few times before the meet just to practice wedging into the bar and getting my form down without getting into the competition suit. Tighter is probably better though. Honestly i dont know how much i get out of it if anything at all, just a training tool. When i get the real suit out i am ready to go and it helps much more. Hope this helps.
I love the Centurion NXG+ for pulling. Not the regular NXG or the Super NXG+, but the NXG+. They discontinued the suit though. I still think you can get it on Priscilla's website if I'm not mistaken (plgearonline.com)
