great job dude, that 800 was right there. i never noticed that you take a fairly wide stance for conventional, have you always pulled that way?

Thanks Tony. Yeah ever since I have pulled conventional (a pretty short period of time) I have pulled this way. I didnt actually know it was wide until I posted vids and people on facebook and youtube were questioning me on it. Seems to work fine so far, but with the explanations I have got from people on going narrower and gripping in a few more inches to shorten the ROM makes me want to make some adjustments. I really want to get to 800 this way first though just to prove to the people that told me you cannot get strong this way. I am stubborn like that. LOL.

On a side note, Watch my 405 raw video (maybe on youtube for a bigger picture) and check out the guy to the far right of the screen. 7 feet tall and 355 pounds. He was a professional wrestler on TV before WWF. Haha makes me look like a little kid.

Just took it easy today and did some light excercises.

20 pound dumbbell cycle x 20 reps continuous.
Shoulder press
Bench press
tricep extentions
bicep curls
bent over rows
sldl

Using 45 pound bar
squats 3 sets of 20
good mornings 3 sets of 20

Got blood to every muscle. Good enough.

Only have 11 days left until I leave for my wedding vacation/honeymoon where I will be out of country for 3 weeks. I might just take it easy until then and do some bodybuilding style workouts with my training partner. I am not going to do any max effort work anyways so I will just mix it for for a change. When I get back from my vacation it is 100% go time  since I will be going into a comp in August. I was thinking of powerlifting until I leave, but 3 weeks off of it, or 4... what is the difference. I have some issues on my back and chest and this will be a good opportunity to heal everything up.

I am taking off here for three weeks to go to Vegas with 35 friends to get married. Then going to Jamaica for 14 nights, back to vegas for two then back home. I will be using the RPE chart to judge the ammount of drinks I am going to have. I should be coming back here with about 10 pounds of muscle loss, 20 pounds of gained fat and a damaged liver, but atleast my body is going to be tanned to perfection. LOL. Talk to you guys in a few weeks. Take care.

Have a great one Jordan!!!

Remember
Nothing says "I love you" more than you showing up with the following things on your wedding day:

- mild alcohol poisoning
- a black eye
- a t-shirt that says "bikini inspector"

May 6th

I am back and alive... sort of. Had an awesome trip. 35 of us spent 4 nights in Vegas partying it up. We did some awesome things like a nighttime Vegas chopper cruise and some other fun things to pass the time. Wedding was great. Took a few 34 foot long hummers to red rock afterwards to do photos and then went for a great dinner. Spent 14 nights in Jamaica after that. All inclusive, 12 bars, 5 restaurants with fine dining and sun shine. Best 19 days total of my life. We drank everyday in Vegas and everyday in Jamaica. A lot too. I lost 10 pounds, loads of muscle and gained a lot of fat LOL. We had to go back to Vegas again after Jamaica to view wedding photos and then got home yesterday. I decided to go and hit some weights today. I got a really really bad headache lifting and had wierd smelling B.O today. Must be all of the booze coming out. Hahah anyways....

Some upper body stuff, then tommorow will be some light deads and squats. Third workout will be stricly back to my powerlifting routine.

Bench
185x5
225x5
275x5@7
315x5@8 haha BOOOO
365x2@9 Well I only lost 5 reps with this weight.
225x20@8

DB shoulder press
100's x 8@9 11 reps lost.
60's x 15@8

Pull ups
BW X 10

Barbell curl
135x8,5@8,7

1 arm tricep extensions.
40's x 12,12,12@7,7,7

Absolutely zero pop on anything pressing. That has to be expected though. A month and I should be back. A plus is that my chest injury and lower back injury is completely gone. I went to 365 on pressing just to see if my chest was tight. Was not tight at all.
