By the looks of it Tron you have been making some crazy gains since I have been gone. Going for 700 on a 45 pound plate is heavy duty man!

May 7th

Went very light today and only did singles. I still get headaches even warming up from beating my body up the last few weeks so repping was not an option today.

Squats
135x3
225x3
315x3
405x1
500x1

Deadlifts
135x3
225x3
315x3
405x2
500x1
600x1 Easy but no pop off of the floor.

1 arm rows
145's x 12

Done.

In two days I start my normal routine again. I should be feeling somewhat normal by then.

Glad to be back Tony. Honeymoon was amazing. Every part of the three weeks out of country was amazing. I am insanely brown right now and probably have the most body fat I am ever had in my life. LOL. It is good though. I feel the weight literally coming off by the minute. I was probably ingesting 10000 cals a day if you factor in the 30 drinks per day I was having and the 6 monster meals with snacks in between. There was a gym at the resort but I just walked by it laughing every day. Weight lifting during holidays= LAME!

Volume block 4
Day 1 of 12

First real workout back since the trip. I kept my workload pretty low which was good since I hit my fatigue stops much faster than before (which is to be expected).
Felt awesome to be challenged by some weights again.

Beltless squats: +200B x3@7-8
225x3
315x3@7.75
365x3@8
405x3@9
405x3@9 Didn't want a 9, but too late to worry about it now.

Beltless 4" deficit deads: x3@7-8
315x3
405x3@7
500x3@Hard 8
500x3@Hard 8

Reverse band closegrips
135x3x3
225x3
Bands
315x3@7
365x3@8
405x3@9
405x3@9 Again didnt want a 9 but still not too bad for first real training in a month.

Done- 90 minutes.
I am going to be super sore tommorow. My legs felt like they tore on the 405 sets of squats. Gotta work the next two days then it is back to the training again. I am desperately wanting to get back to where I was previously. This drive should help me get there fast. There is a comp in Sept, one in Oct and one in Nov so I gotta get my ass in gear and do one of those. I am aiming for the one in Alberta to lift with Jon, Evan and a few of the other guys I know a bit. The biggest lifter in Canada lifts in Alberta so I can go and get some lessons.

Volume block 4
Day 2 of 12

Went to do equipped presses but my biceps are way too small for the shirt! Haha lost 3/4 of an inch so the shirt is unuseable for the time being. Took everything light today since I still have no power pressing. Very weak infact. I sure hope this comes back fast. My chest was sore from the tiny bit of reverse band presses I did yesterday. I hate being weak. It makes me come up with a lot of creative excuses.

3 board press (alternate to equipped) x3@8-9
185x5
225x3
3 board
275x3
315x3@7
365x3@8
365x3@8.5 Yuck

Wide grip 1 board: x4@8-9 Previous best 390x4@9
225x4
275x4
315x4@8
325x4@8 Heavy 8.

Seated hammer curls
60's x 8
70's x 6
80's x 5 Grow little fellas grow!!!

Ez bar curl
108x8
158x5@9
108x10

LOL not even worth writing about. Little arms and a bad bench.

Is that what Tron refers too? Or do you have a different nickname as well?

Actually my birth certificate lists my name as  "Little arms and a bad bench".

I just call myself TRON because it sounds more imposing

BWAAHAHHAAAA!

The nickname TRON comes from the great Canadian Film FUBAR.
If you have grown up in a Canadian small town, listened to heavy metal music (and wore the corresponding black t-shirt with the long white sleeves), and had a mullet ever in your life you will appreciate this movie.

Hah i will have to check it out to see what the Tron name is all about. Must be really good to use it as your powerlifting name. FUBAR is one of my weekend things on my to do list.
