Today was supposed to be equipped pressing but I put my bench shirt on and It was ridiculous. It was alreadytoo big, and since I have lost weight I was swimming in it. Raw it is. I am going to get new gear but I am getting married in 3 months so the bills for that make me not wanna splurge on powerlifting gear. Anyways...
Bench:x1-3@9-10 First time pressing in 2.5 weeks. 225x3 275x3 315x2@7 345x1@8 paused 365x1@9 380x0 Had the rep but I plowed it right into the pegs. Oh well I am not counting something that i dont do cleanly. 345x1@8
DB shoulder press -First time doing shoulders in weeks as well. 100's x 10@9 110's x 5@9.5 Not too shabby 80's x 15@ 8
Abs
Well not too great. I dont expect much for not benching in a while, but my bench was only like 390ish before I hurt my pec and before I got sick so this wasnt too bad. I think the route I have to take is too not press of of my chest and to work on what will work with a bench shirt on. Board presses and stuff like that. Man I am sore from the last few days of training.

Front squats: x3 135x3 225x3 275x3@8 285x3@8 320x3@9.5
Grip work- Walk with 145 pound dumbbells for 100 feet x2
Good day considering it has been weeks since I have done these excercises. The excercises, expecially the beltless bands squats felt really wierd. That top set was a good pr for me. I think I tripled it last volume cycle@9. The deficit deads were hard. The bar is almost right on top of my feet. The top set was a full 100 pounds off of my set when I pull off of the floor. I am unsure if this is normal, or if this is a weakness for me. I will see next week when I do this excercise again. Front squats sucked. I am horrible at these. I dont really need to do grip work since I have never had an issues, but since I need to dumbbells to hold the bands for squats, I walk around with them for something to do.

Good workout today. Floor press is getting way better. Elbows felt good, skull crushers were pretty solid. Only issue is with my hands again. Really sore from the rep day on deads. Ripped an area and I am worried that doing sets of 5's on deads in 2 days is going to make them worse. Oh well.

17" Boxsquats: x3@8-9 315x3 365x3@7 405x3@10 Waaaay too gassed. Skip rest of this excercise.
Apex leg extensions. 250pound stack x10,9,8.
Definately the best deadlift day I have ever had. I normally pull 585x1@8, today was 585x5@8. I was deadlifting with my bodybuilder friend and I had to beat him. Sick of losing to him on powerlifting lifts. Anyways todays lift felt insane. I pulled 585 and the reps were accelerating as they left the floor. Normally they slow near lockout. Perhaps the 4.75" deficit pulls are having an immediate turnover. Either way I am pretty pumped and looking forward to the intensity cycle again.

Volume cycle- I wrote Intensity cycle yesterday for some dumb reason Day 4 of 12
Equipped bench 225x3 275x3 315x3@8 Add f6-50 315x1 touched with ease. Wtf 365x1 405x1x2@9 Ok Eff this shirt. It is obviously way to big now. Only 20 pounds out of it. It has to go. 275x1-Touched easily with shirt on. Hah yeah perhaps I am going to order a new one.
Very unmotivated today. Pressing never seems to get any better. Pulls and squats go up daily but pressing has always sucked.
On a side note, I am done with my bench shirt. It is a size 50 F6. It has been used for about 6 bench workouts. I AM GIVING IT AWAY. First come first served. Only thing I ask is that you pay the shipping, plus it is covered in chalk so you clean it as well. Cant find a better deal than this.

Grip work Hold onto 145 pound dumbbells for time 1 x 46 seconds
Today was challenging. I saw a vid on youtube of a guy choking the strong bands at the base of the squat rack so i tried it today. The base is 3.5 inch square metal so I figured that took a full foot off of the band to choke it. This literally felt like the tension doubled. I had trouble just getting the band over the bar. With band unchoked I squatted 405x5@9, today I got 365x3@ 8.5 so the ammount of weight taken off of the set was huge. I really like these because there was no slack in the band, even at the very bottom.
Deadlifts- I used my4.75 inch box and double stacked 45 pound plates as a platform. The weight actually squished the top of myfeet a tiny bit to get into the starting position. This is the absolute highest deficit possible for me. Was happy to pull 500x3@8.75. Very long way to move the weight. I am going to play around with randon deficits with additional chain work in the future on these.

Going to start doing chain bench and close grip to try to get the triceps working more accordingly for what I want to accomplish. Bench still lags, but now I have some baseline numbers to work with and to try to get some gains out of.

Pretty good training session. Deadlifts with chains went a lot better than the last time I did them. A month ago I used 510 for my set and it was pretty heavy. I am going to use this excercise in my intensity cycle for a single and see what I can do.
Box squats were good this week. No pr's but big improvement from last week.
Got called for an overtime shift so I had to cut the assistance work out of my workout AGAIN! I really got to make a point of doing it. On a good note my deadlift suit has finally been shipped. Been taking forever.
