New Guy questions

Hi  I am new your forum. I am new to RTS. I have read your book(very informative) and the posts/logs on the forum.  I still have a some questions.

I am going to start with the basic template and trying to figure out my RPE's.

On the noncyclic(supplemental) exercises should  sets and reps vary in volume/intensity blocks? Or should I always perform 4-5 sets of 5-8 reps.

When should I start fatigue stops?

I have approx 16 weeks to my next comp. Is this enough time to properly institute this system?

Thanks
Ron

Yes you have plenty of time. You should start fatigue stops when you feel ready to add more to your programming (i.e. you aren't psychologically overwhelmed during the training session). You can vary the sets and reps with the blocks or not, but I'd keep them in those pre-determined ranges. There's plenty of variability there.
