Okay sorry for the lack of updates, my computer got a virus and doesn't work, hopefully I'll get it fixed soon.

Very pleased with hitting 365, considering that was my best squat in December last year, and that was done with a belt and flat shoes, squatting has definitely exploded with RTS. Like I mentioned, my strength curve is very sharp with inclines, considering I had a rep left with 225 and 235 wouldn't budge, still the heaviest I've ever had on incline though.
In-season phase, Intensity block, Week 2 Monday 3/16- SBB at HSP and school gym
Well I suppose I should be disappointed that 545 was so difficult considering the RPE chart put my over 600, however it was still the heaviest weight I've handled by a long shot and it was good to finally put up a struggle in the suit, depth was fairly close as well. I'm still aiming to go for 6 at the meet, I think after the amount of training until then and adding wraps it is within reach. Also today was done after a day's worth of very physical labor so I came in tired, not an excuse just something to keep in mind when comparing various days.
3/17 Could not get to the gym, it's spring break so the gym has limited hours, during all of which I was working at the Salvation Army doing service work. Just as well too, considering the work was exhausting.

Seated DB 65x5,5 75x5,4
Solid day today, off for break and at the third gym near home, Gold's Gym, hopefully this one won't close on me like the last two. Definitely had some more in me with 215, but I hit the rack on the first rep and actually had to move myself down the bench holding 305 at the top, even then, still hit the goal. I think the seated db press was actually heavier than labeled, since I counted 65lbs of weight on the dumbell so the label didn't seem to include the handle, whatever.

Found a grungy room downstairs to lift in instead of the main floor, better atmosphere, I even took a few videos I'll try and post up. Solid work on everything.
Suit squat- x2 @9-10, est. range 490-517 495x2 @9...pr 520x1 @10...missed second, very close

Close grip bench with chain 135+40c x8 135+80c x8 135+120c x12
Well at first I was rather disappointed at missing the second rep with 520, it seems as I'm taking it deeper the older numbers are less valid since I smoked 515x3 earlier but with poorer depth. However, as I look over the numbers I realize 495x2 is an @9 pr over last week by 5lbs, so I'm happy enough. During the workout however I was a little ticked off and nailed a good pause bench pr. The close grip chain stuff was just for fun, it felt good to rep out a little.
Your application of the RTS stuff is really good. Heck, I'm proud of your programming! Nicely done.
And I guess I should mention that you've done really well for yourself as far as gains, too! Some nice PRs over the last couple workouts!
Thanks Mike, that means a lot coming from you--timely as well, considering I've been getting frustrated with how some exercises haven't been progressing as linearly as I might like. I have to credit you for the programming, and it will only become more refined as I learn more and progress--although there are times I kind of wish I had a cookie cutter program to turn my brain off, I guess I'll take the advanced gains at the expense of some mental energy.
Also, I don't know if you saw in the main forum but I was wondering if you could give any input into my meet planning dilemma. I bumped my old thread about the same topic up.
Band deadlift- x2 @9-10, est. range 346-365 from 2 weeks ago (360-380 3 weeks ago) 365x2 @10...exactly where I started this cycle from...hurmph 345x2 @10
CG PB press- x1 @9-10, est. range 295-311 300x1 @9...pr, or better than last time in any case 300x1 @9 300x1 @10
Pause squat 225x5...cut it short, bad knee
Deadlifts going poorly and board press going well...that's rare. I'm continually annoyed at the bars at the gym. I'll probably set a huge deadlift PR at the meet simply by virtue of being able to hold onto the bar.
Band bench +90mm- x1 @9-10, est. range 227-238 225x1 @8 245x1 @10...pr 225x1 @9
Sumo DL- x2 @9-10, est. range 434-458 405x2 @8 430x1 @9 ...after the first rep felt that heavy I lost any and all motivation and called it in.
Benching went surprisingly well today, considering I was very distracted, been wrestling with and mulling over some things today, I'll figure things out over a retreat that I have this weekend.
For those who are still keeping tabs on me, I just thought I'd let you know that I will be changing gears with my training. Multiple times in my life I've felt the calling of the Lord towards military service, but have been disappointed when I thought I was totally ineligible due to some history of asthma. Recently, however, I found out I can actually obtain a waiver if I can pass a Pulmonary Function Test (a test I have passed in the past). This discovery put me at an impasse with whether to train as I have been for competitive powerlifting or for more endurance work in preparation, and I could not help but feel that doing the former would just be selfish and seeking to glorify myself instead of laying down my own life for the sake of others. That said, I'll still be training to keep my raw strength up for the time being and will probably post up a new journal detailing that. I know my chances are still pretty slim and I won't really know for sure whether I'll be successful until after a good length of time with this training, but I feel compelled and convicted that this is a risk worth taking. Pardon my verbosity and God bless!
