What does everyone use for shin protection while pulling? I have been using knee high socks but still bleed all over the place when i pull. I tried taping my shins, then using knee high socks over top, but bled everywhere. My shins get beat to **** since I pull 2-3 times per week and I need something to protect. I looked online and saw that APT has some shin guards, but they look like they will just do what I am doing now, just a fancier version. The cuts are good since the bar is staying tight to my body, but enough is enough. Looks like someone got murdered with the bar when I was done yesterday. Nothing like having to wash a bar like you would wash a car after a workout.

If anybody knows any tips I am listening as well. I am not as bad as Jordan but I am scarred for life already and its not getting any better.
The only thing that might work in my eyes would be using a deadlift bar where there is no deep grip to grap into your shins as you go up but I cant afford one of those and the IPF doesnt use one either so why train with one.
I have a pair of Rehband Knee Supports that I wear during training. They're neoprene. When I DL, I just pull them down off the knee so they cover the calf / shin.
I think they also make a longer, tighter calf support.
Jackal's Gym to order...at least, that's where I order, great customer service.
Yeah it is a little redneck-ish, but it seems to do the trick. Hey how did you post that vid?
When you reply (not quickreply), there's a little film icon in the bar for embedding video. I think it used to be a youtube icon but I guess now it works for all online video.
