100# Dumbbell Press x5 110# Dumbbell Press x5 120# Dumbbell Press x10!!! I just decided to keep going...felt great 120# Dumbbell Press x5---oops out of gas 25NL
Thanks man...I should clarify...it was narrowER grip. I had never tried that grip before so it was narrowER to me.
I watched your meet. Great job! That 800 was moving quickly, you'll definitely get that soon. The bench and 750 were fantastic!! Awesome!
Do you want me to hook you up w/ a pre-vacation workout plan. You can go back and use my bicep/ab plan that I posted before. You may need to cut slits in the tux to fit your guns, and you won't need a cumberbund, your abs will be just fine. Just cut off the shirt below the sternum, but I don't think she'd mind as long as your eyes are white. 3 weeks??? Wow, that's some kind of wedding/honeymoon. Enjoy it! Congrats.
Screw that man. If your program will get me that shredded over the next 10 days before I go, I am not wearing a tux. I am going to get a tux painted on like the Sports Illustrated swimsuit models.

On a side note. My wife is not really down w/ me getting another tattoo, but her brother got me a gift certificate for one. Can't let that go to waste:) Advice for all y'all...marry your buddy's sister, you get the woman you absolutely love and still get to hang w/ your buddy. You da man Jeramie!
Deads off of 2 1/2" 100# Pound Plates I've never done these and now I know why...these suck. They work, but man I am a wide sumo lifter, so I was nearly butt on the floor.
Front Squats 135 x5 185 x5 225 x5 275 x1 *I wasn't committed and was out of groove and legs and shoulders and bis and and and and are sore! 225 x5
Elbows out extensions 4x6
I sound like a broken record, but these weds workouts are tough. They are good, but tough. I squat on Saturday and I'm feeling it on Monday and then I squat and bench heavy on Monday and by Weds I'm still feeling some effects from Saturday. Not bad stuff, just feeling it, I seem to have a lot of strength on Weds, but no endurance. Also, w/ work and family things are starting to add up by Wed. On Saturdays it's all good because it's the weekend. On Mondays, usually not enough has hit the fan at work and I'm still in post weekend mode. However, weds it all kind of hits. Like I said, not a bad thing, it wouldn't be worth it to change, but it's always taxing.

Wow oh wow. Did not get off to a great start this am. My wife has had a stomach thing for a few days and today it hit me. I know not everyone is interested in the frequency and consistency of my stool, but suffice it to say I was in lockdown mode for about 45 minutes. My terlet and I got well acquainted. I actually thought about skipping the workout. However, I forged ahead.

Glute Ham Body wt x6 25# Dumbbell x4 (cramping) Body wt x5 (cramping) Passed 15NL I think all of my electrolytes were on their way to the waste water treatment plant.
Overall good workout. Dad had a great one today. It's amazing how somewhat average minds think alike. After we were done he confessed to thinking about wearing a belt today. It's funny because I was thinking the same thing all week. In the end neither of us cracked and we were beltless, but it was funny he was thinking the same thing. I should note, my dad is doing the same program I am, he's 60 and in the 181 class.
He doesn't need to. All you have to do is look at my numbers and add 10# and one extra rep to everything I do. He won't let his little kid show him up! Watch out all you Master 5's out there.
All right Jordan, I'm sorry. He is very strong, works very hard, and does a great job, but unfortunately you can't hear sarcasm over the internet. Yes, he's a very encouraging partner, when people ask how long I'm going to do this, I say that I have 24 more years after my dad quits competing. When I see how hard he and Judy work, I realize that I can't slack off. They really push me. But those numbers are exaggerated, sorry for any confusion.
"All right Jordan, I'm sorry" That is funny. You must feel bad for my stupidity. LOL.Ha well I was a little skeptical, but there are some crazy lifters in their 60's. The first comp I ever went around 5 years ago had a guy who was 63 or 64 that benched 510 I think. He hit 400 raw easily in the back. Numbers seemed large for your dad but are still beleivable since there are some huge 181 lifters out there, like yourself.

Thanks Jordan...it wasn't like that tho:) Dad will probably post his next meet results (or I will), but I don't think he'll be posting his workouts. We'll see.
Monday 4-13-09 6:00-7:25 w/ Dad and Judy 180.5 pounds
I'm used to benching on Mondays, deadlifting on Wednesdays and squatting and benching on Saturdays. So, mentally this program has been difficult because I saw that I had to do competition bench today. So, mentally I was thinking about that and visualizing the bench. I was happy w/ a 355x3. Normally, (pre-RTS) I would have moved on to accessories. However, I had to re-focus and get ready for a heavy squat. In the past, on thursdays (or earlier) I would start focusing and thinking about saturday's squats. However, now I have to keep getting back on that horse. I think that methodology (RTS) has really helped my strength, but I have not caught up to it mentally yet. I have such a small window in my life to fit in the lifting, that sometimes it's hard to find the time to get up for lifting and the time to come back down. Consequently, today was one of those nights. I feel each time through though it gets a little better.
Wed 4-15-09 6:00-7:35 179.5lbs w/ Dad and Judy The Pound
My oh my did we have a donnybrook tonight. Just a quick breakdown on the fracas. Upon the completion of my deads and bench work my Program said to do Front Squats. However, my Legs jumped right in the Programs face and said "son, we killed it on the deads tonight, we are still tender from squats on Monday and Saturday" Program said "well the Program says we do Front Squats" Suddenly, Back jumps in and is like "uh uh, we are DUN" Then, Program starts getting all huffy about it "The Program says right here..." After going back and forth, and back and forth, Shoulder says "Enough...have you seen what I've been doing?" "I am not about to hold a stinking bar and do Front Squats" Finally my Mind stepped in. Mind said "first of all Program, don't talk about yourself in the 3rd person, and second of all, I have to agree w/ Legs, Back, and Shoulders. So, you are no longer welcome to bring Front Squats here on Wednesdays. Sorry Front Squats, but my body just can't handle you after heavy deads and bench.
