After a hernia surgery what rehab exercise you should do when you are heal after the surgery?

Hopefully someone can help who has better advice than me (having never dealt with hernia surgury in any fashion).
I would listen to what the doctor says and take his advice. I'm not sure how much "rehabbing" can be done for something like this. Maybe just let it heal.

If it's healed? Maybe then go back to regular training? I'd still get an "OK" from a doctor.

I never did herniate a disk but I have sustained several injuries to my lower back and the word I got from the therapist and doctors was always the same. Start light and work your way back, don't be in too big of a hurry to stack the weight back on or you could reinjury yourself. Typically after an injury the muscles in that area will lock up if there is a danger of hurting it again, then they overstrain and end up causing another injury although less serious. Best advice is to not push the PRs too hard for a month or two, but you can certainly train anything that doesn't cause pain
