Intensity cycle 3
Day 3 of 12

3 board press: x1@9-10
275x1
315x1@7
345x1@7.5
365x1@8
385x1@8.25
405x1@9.25
415x1@9.5 Pr
385x2@9.25

Wide grip 1 board press:x1@9-10
225x3@7
275x1@7
315x1@7
345x1@8
365x1@8.5 I think this is a pr.
390x1@9.25 Big Pr!
400x1@10 Huge PR!
365x1@8

Seated Unsupported DB Press
60x8@7
80x8@9 WAAAAAY HARDER.
80x7@9

I am actually really6, really surprised today. 3 board presses were heavy, 1 board presses started off heavy and felt heavy up to 315. After the 315 set I really focused on holding and supporting the weight through my palms and the weight felt way lighter and easier. 360 would have been a Pr and I made it up to 400x1!? I am just confused at why this happened. I am confident I could have paused 400x1 on my chest for a single tonight. These reps were all with a self-liftoff and needed no spot. I know 400x1 is nothing to crap your pants over but I have been in a slump for years. Just gotta find out why the monster jump...

Intensity cycle
Day 4 of 12

Close grip Paused: x1@9-10
2 second count

135x5x2
225x1x2@7
275x1@7.5
315x1@8
345x1@8.5 Small Pr
365x1@9.5 Big Pr!
345x1@9

Close grip: +158C x3@9-10
Touch and go
First time doing these with chain.
Established a baseline today for Pr purposes.

135x3@7
225x3@10
205x3@9
205x3@9
205x3@9.5

Abs
Steep incline situps+25# x 12

Side crunches
110DB X12 PERSIDE
125DB X 8 PERSIDE

Roman chair leg lift x 20.

Done-75 minutes.

Close grip- Seems that the additional weight I gained out of the blue on bench has transfered to all of my presses and stayed so far. I could barely bench 365 2 weeks ago touch and go and now I paused it close grip with more in the tank. Pretty pumped.

Close grip with chains- 225 caught me off guard. Over 380 combined should have sent a warning sign that it might be out of reach. I barely got it without an ounce to spare. Oh well. Heavy sets for intensity week are ok.
I will know for next time. This workout was supposed to be doubled up minis, but they still havent showed up yet so chains it is.

Nice Job on the Bench! Keep it up! After a while, lets re-evaluate your training template and exercises to see how they did. Then if we need to we'll make slight changes. Until then, keep training hard!!!

Intensity cycle 3
Day 5 of 12

Squat: x1@9-10
315x2@7
405x1@7
455x1@7
Add belt and wraps
500x1@8
540x1@8.5
585x1@9.25 25# Pr! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3rOpJlMq1Y
500x1@8.5

*Just watched the vid and paused it at the bottomof the rep. Maybe juust below parallel but I am not overly happy with it. Gotta stay more upright and get better depth*

Below Knee rack pulls: x1@9-10
405x2
495x1
585x1@8
675x1@9.5 Harder than off of the floor.

Reverse band close grip: x1@9-10
225x5x2
315x1@7
Add bands
365x3@8
405x1@8.5
435x1@9 Pr! Last week was 430x1@10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzCe3Cb84Qo
405x1@9 Paused

Bi's for the guys aka- Barbell curls
135x10@9
165x5@9

Pretty awesome day. Finally got the 6 plates per side squat today. Pretty confident I can get 600 next time. I dont think I am going to do any single next week though. Dont want to do three weeks of them. Rack pulls right under the knee cap are harder than pulling off of the floor for me I found today. No leg drive at all. You are locked into that ackward position with only lower back to work with. Reverse band press is making some good gains as well.

Intensity cycle 3
day 6 of 12

I had a complete writeup for this training day but the writeup turned into a wierd format while I was typing and was not legible??. I will be breif since I do not want to write a long bunch of stuff again.

Raw 3 board.
225x3
315x2@7
365x2@8
385x2@8
415x2@8.5 Big Pr!
430x2@10 Guy had to assist a very tiny ammount on second.
385x2@8

Wide 1 board press
275x2@7
315x2@7
365x2@8 Pr!
385x2@9 Pr!
405x1@9.5 Pr!
385x2@9.5

DB shoulder press
No back support
40'sx8@7
60'sx8@7
80'sx8@8 Pr!
90'sx5@10

Rear delt badn pull aparts
Doubled reds
x15,13,11

Side delts
50's x 7@9

Raw 3 board- 415x1@10 last week, 415x2@8.5 this week. NEVER have made a gain on bench like that.

Wide 1 board- 390x1@9.25  last week. 385x2@9 this week. So 5 pounds less but I could have turned last weeks single into a triple. Another insane jump for me. Last week 400x1 was full out. I didnt have an ounce in me. 405 could have possibly been a double.

DB shoulders- Pr on this excercise.

Just pumped with todays workout. Cant wait until Brady has some raw work off of the chest in there so I can see where I am.

Things are looking really good Jordan. Keep it up! I am feeling really good myself. This week started off kind of slow, but I know my bench is going up again a little after today. At least my lockout is! LOL

Intensity cycle 3
Day 7 of 12

Equipped deadlift: x1@9-10
225x2x3 warmup
315x2
405x2@6
500x1@7
Add 36 Inzer fusion
500x1@7
585x1@7
675x1@8
725x1@9.25 20 pound Pr!
751x0@10 SOOOOOOO CLOSE!

Batteries died on the camera as soon as I turned it on. Oh well.

751 Has been a goal since I started training. It is the National record of Tom Niccols in the 125 Kg class. If I remember correctly it is the largest deadlift out of any weight class. I was going to go for it in a few months time but it seems I am almost there. Got it to rocket off of the floor, just couldnt quite lock it out. Not too shabby for not knowing how to use a suit worth ****. Tore my hand badly on the 725 rep.

Box squat:x3@9-10 -Need 465x3@9.5 for 3 rep Pr
315x3@7
405x3@7 Rpe Pr!
475x5@10 wasnt supposed to do 5 but I was pretty amped on this set. Awesome Pr anyways.
500x3@9.5 Pr!

Beltess goodmornings x5
225x5@7
315x5@8
315x5@8
315x5@8.5 COOKED!

Stretched, has a long hot shower and ate a bathtub full of Kraft Dinner.

thanks jordan. on sundays i do more of a tricep/lockout day so i do my first movement thumbless closegrip and really focus on pushing with just my arms which hits my tris pretty hard. the pec thing will be fine, its actually been a long time since ive had it so just a little rest and ill be good to go, i got a meet on march 22 but im not worried this will hold me back at all. keep up the good lifting and smash that 750 soon!

Intensity cycle 3
Day 8 of 12

Close grip paused:x1-2@9-10
225x3@6
275x2@7
315x2@8
365x2@9 Huge pr! This was x1@10 last week.
385x1@10 20#Pr!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOaybn8Q9Sw

Close grip: x1 +doubled monster minis (???)
185x1@7
225x1@8
275x1@9.25
300x1@10 Not an ounce left in me.

Close grip paused- Turned a single with 365 into something I could have tripled in a week. Felt really strong today.

Close grip with monster minis- First time doing these. I am unsure of the exact tension these are supposed to be but it was really tough. The 300 set was crawling at the top. Really had to stay with it for a while. Clean rep though.

Question for anyone that wants to answer- How do you write that you are using monster minis if they are doubled... is it mmmm? and what is the tension supposed to be at the top?
