Yeah I saw that. I thought 751 was the biggest out of all of the lifts, which it isnt. I cut the numbers 751 out of my training log cover to remind me. Now I have to get a new training log. I dont have too but I am going too. Now I need to carve in 762.3 (346.5 kg) Either way 765 could have went today instead of 751 so it should be there by my next intensity cycle. Next goal-800.

Intensity cycle 3
Day 12 of 12

Paused close grip: x1-3
225x3
275x3
315x3@8
365x4@10 2 rep Pr! I couldnt stop at three!
385x1@9 Misgrooved and still got an RPE Pr!
400x1@10 Full 2 second pause. 15pound Pr!

Close grip touch and go: +MM X3@9-10
225x3@8
250x3@8.5
275x3@10 Good pr!
250x3@9

Seated DB shoulder press.
Used a shoulder seat that has a backrest this week. Very sore from yesterday.

100's x 16@10 PR! One set is enough.

Side delt raises.
35's x 12,10,8

Well if I can close grip 400 paused, I better be able to press like 430-440 fresh with a comp grip. My gym is having their annual bench/deadlift comp in April so for fun I might program my training to lift in it. It is a raw comp with touch and go pressing and  regular pulling. We will see.

That wraps up my intensity cycle. I saw some pretty amazing gains in the past three weeks that I have never had before.
Raw bench 375x1 To 415x1 (fatigued at the end of a workout)
Squat 545x2 To 550x3 and max up 20 pounds to 585.
Deadlift from 705 to 751.

Back to volume where I use bands for my squats and do reverse band deads and a few other things differently.

You'll have to write up some kind of synopsis or analysis of how your training has been and how you've gotten to where you are now. You have had some of the best gains that I've ever seen on RTS. Keep that up. You've been working real hard and deserve it!

Thanks Brady. I appreciate that. The only thing is though that I am as basic lifter as I can possibly be. Not because I want to, but why wreck a good thing. I simply use the RTS basic template, plug in the appropriate excercises (with the help of you and Mike) and I pick a different rep range each day. 3 weeks of intensity, 3 weeks of volume. No stress levels, no frequency/fatigue management, no extra workouts (PERHAPS I MIGHT BE LAZY-HAHA). I am going to wait for my lifts to flatline before I incorperate more advanced lifts. For mr Pr programming, I dont bother using the chart to calculate my 1rm. I differ too much between singles, doubles, triples etc. I use the specific day and compare specific rep ranges. If I benched 405 x 1, then hit 400x3 on a different day, 405 is still my max, and 400x3 is my max on triples. It is easier for me that way. Then I look at my previous best for the rep range, know what I need to do and go right after it fresh. That is why you see huge jumps going into heavy sets sometimes. An example is that I made an 80 pound jump to my max on deads yesterday rather than small jumps. Seriously though thanks for the encouragement. It helps.

Had some other stuff on here that was bothering me (which some of you probably read) but decided to remove it.

Is that explained in your sig?

No the sig is a Will Ferrell Line. But Yeah related. Some false rumour spreading by someone in a different province. It is all good though. No point getting too carried away about it. I will go to a comp, piss, pass the test ANY day of the week/month and take away any doubt on CERTAIN peoples minds.

Thanks Andrew. Not nearly as impressive as your lifts for your bodyweight. Insane pound for pound!

Thanks! No point getting too jealous though. This is just a really good stage. If I gained like this I would be lifting Mike style numbers in like a year or two, and that is not going to happen. Probably ever. Going to plateau soon I am guessing and then have to train smart. Either that or just EAT MORE!!!

Great progress, can't wait to see you test yourself at a CPU meet.
