Jordan, there is no reason why you can't break 700 in that suit. I think you'll be around 750.

If you cant break 700, just pull the legs up an inch or two

Actually that is a good idea. Probably an idea which everyone will say "duh" about, but it actually didnt cross my mind. I will try that when the back is ready for equipped squats again on the lighter lifts.

Volume cycle 3
Day 9 of 12

My car broke down out of town at work, so my gym bag was left there as well. I have no belt, shoes, wraps, bands or anything. This is good in a way because my lower back isnt 100% by any means yet and it forces me to take it easy.

The main issue today with all of my excercises was the missing wrist wraps. I have small wrists and they took a beating. In a bad way that is.

I used a completely different squat form today, pushing my hips and knees out and trying to stay more upright. This was extremely hard, but it is something I need to do to stay injury free, and to hit depth in a contest.

100% raw squats: x3
135x3
225x3
315x3
365x3
405x3
455x3
365x3

Raw good mornings
135x5
225x5
275x5
315x5

Closegrip 3 board press: x3@8-9 No wrist wraps made this difficult.
225x3
275x3
315x3@7
365x3@8
405x3@8.75 Pr!
410x3@9 Pr!

Hyperextensions
BW x 10 slow reps. Stretching out lower back.

Nice and light on everything. 455x3 was actually heavy feeling since I used my outer hips a lot. Not much power in there for me. Glad to see I gained again on pressing movements. I was supposed to de reverse band press, but that cant happen with them missing.

Volume cycle 3
Day 10 of 12

Equipped bench: x 1-2@8-9
225x5
275x3
315x3@7
Katana
405x3- Really high.
455x1@8 2" high
475x1@8 1" high
500x1@9 1/2 board height. Paused and hit. Pr!
530x1@9.5 Pr! Grazing touch. Right there.
500x1@9 1 board.

Raw widegrip 1 board: x2@9
225x2
275x2
315x2
365x2@7
405x3@10 2 rep Pr! This would have been a @9, but for some stupid reason I did a super long pause on the third rep. Sort of force of habit from just doing paused equipped bench. Either way, 405x1 was full out last time i went heavier, so I am super pumped with the progress.

Volume cycle 3
Day 11 of 12

Equipped deads: x1-3@8-9
135x5
225x5
315x5
405x3
add belt
500x1@7
Suit
500x1@7
585x1@7
675x1@easy 8 Ripped!
751x1@9 CDN record again. 9rpe instead of 10. Good Pr!
765x1@9.5 Pr! 8 plates per side finally!!
I seriously think I can give 800 a legit run if I can get the same power I had today when I full out max.

Leg press
180x5
270x5
360x5
450x5
540x5
630x5
720x5
770x5@9 Legs havent had direct quad work like this in a looong time. Pumped!

I did leg press to rest my lower back some more. Deads dont bother it but squats do.

I have a vid of the 765 that I will post tommorow. I am posting from work (went in for graveyard overtime) so i didnt get a chance earlier.

Here is the video. Sorry about the quality. It was off of a cellphone. This rep was misgrooved and ****ty compared to the 751 rep. Still a good rep.

That was great. That suit looks to be giving you great speed off the floor.

Thanks! Yeah The suit seems to assist a bit, but I am naturally fast off of the floor. Even my raw pulls are like that, with a little less weight.

Volume cycle 3
Day 12 of 12

Close grip paused bench: x5@8-9
135x5
185x5
225x5@7
275x5@7
315x5@8
350x5@9 Pr!
315x5@8 Huge pauses.

Close grip: +MM x3@8-9
135x3
225x3@7.5
275x3@9 Pr! Finally got this at a 9.
250x3@9 Fatigue stop.

DB shoulder press:x5
80's x 5
100's x 5
120's x 5 @9 Big Pr!
135x1@9.5 Had to do it. I didnt think I would ever hit the 120's for 5 full reps, so I kicked up the 135's. Now I got through the mental barrier of thinking I would never be able to use those things.

Good night tonight. Pr's on every pressing motion again. I am getting used to this. Volume cycle has come to and end and now it is time to start handling some heavy weights again. Still unsure of the lower back. Fells a little tight and ackward so I think the leg press might be my weapon of choice for the next week or two still.

Intensity cycle 3
Day 1 of 12

Hacksquats: x5 Giving the back a rest for another week. These are harder for me than squats, so they are a good trade.

90x5
180x5
270x5
360x5@8
410x5@8.5 Pr!
450x3@9.5
360x10@9.5

Reverse band deadlifts:x1@9-10
Bands at 5'5.

315x3
405x3
500x1
585x1@8
675x1@8.5
735x1@10 10# Pr.

Closegrip 3 boards: x 1@9-10
225x3
275x3
315x3
365x1
405x1@8
430x1@9 Pr
450x0@10 Like an ounce off of hitting it.

Good day today. Back is feeling better by the day. Only hurts on the bottom of a squat. Deads were strong, closegrips were good too. I would have hit a little more volume but I was in a hurry.

Intensity cycle 3
Day 3 of 12

Going to take it really easy on the chest now. After today I need to recoupe and get this chest tendonitis sorted out. (Atleast I think that is what it is) My 420 raw rep was way below my current potential. Still a pr but I was in pain the whole rep. Sort of like bad elbows where you are useless, but in the armpits instead. Haha always something.

Equipped bench.
Warm up
135x3
185x3
225x3
275x3
315x3 all raw
Add shirt
405x3 - 3 board.
455x2 2 board
475x1 1 board.
500x1@8.5 1"high
520x1@9.25 Touched, paused and hit. Pr!
520x1 2 boards. Just practiced loading shirt for another rep.

Raw
135x1
185x1
225x1
275x1
315x1
365x1
405x1@Hard 8
420x1@9...+ would be extremely close to getting a double with this. Good pr! Last vid of 405x1 showed a slow grinder. This was a much better rep with more weight.
420 raw video

520 equipped below.
