Body feels tired, sore and achy today. I got up at 5 am to do 18 holes with my dad so the time I got to training afterwards I was bagged. On a side note- I teed off on a 220 yard par 3 with a 4 iron, stuck it right off of the cup, off the flag and withing 5". Easy bird. Haha that made my day since it is such a long, brutal par 3. ANNNNYWAYS...
Didnt bother with my normal workout. Body was too sore. Just did some reps and got out.

Done. Triceps are cooked. I would have considered doing my paused close grip but the texas powerbars were being used (3 of them) and all that was left were bent bars. Pretty lame workout. Best part was washing up at the end in the changeroom. Some really old naked dude wanted to have a conversation with me. outside of the showers.

Warmed up with squats and found that my lower back was very stiff. I opted to just stretch out today and skip the workout. Felt unstable. Body has felt beat up for a few days.

Volume block Three nights ago I had a stag to go too that lasted until 5:30 am, Two nights ago I had to go to the wedding that lasted until 6 am. I woke up yesterday to find out that I did not get my night off of work yesterday at the last minute. I went in and worked a graveyard last night. I got up with the kids after 5 horribel hours of sleep. I have a stag next weekend, a wedding the weekend after, than 3 more stags and weddings in the next month and a bit. I think I should cage myself up at home where I am safe. Needless to say, I havent been hitting any huge weights lately. Gotta get my ass into gear.
Stretched and finished. 50 minutes. No way I was mentally ready to start hitting really hard sets so I just played around. Going to get a lot of sleep tonight and do some deadlifts tommorow.

Easy one today. Suit felt really, really ackward today. Havent wore it in 2 months so getting any sort of groove was out of the question. Took me a few times with it last cycle to feel comfortable.

Push presses are getting better and my shoulders are feeling a little thicker and stronger since starting them. I was told today that my push press looks to strict, and I need more leg drive. I will try that out next time.

Today was bad from the beginning. I woke up once again with an ache in my lower back. My back feels like it is borrowed off an 80 year old man. Before my workout began I chose to avoid any pulls for the day and do some other back assistance work. Squats started off good. I was going to triple 700 but I had really bad placement on my back for the first rep. I did the single and when I went to rack to weight, my hands were too wide and I squished my pinky against to post. Nail is black and it felt like I broke my finger in half at the time. I decided to call it there. squat suit is getting more confortable and I should be able to do some reps in it soon if I can figure the bar placement thing out.

That sucks...Judy the woman that trains w/ us did that one time split her finger open and had to get stitches.

Btw---I'm going to use the c- sword line this weekend when we watch the fight. I'll of course throw it out there in the course of conversation so they'll think I thought of it.
haha Naturally you have to steal the material as your own. I like Trons "dangler" comment equally as much. Yeah the finger sucks. It is super sore today. Lucky it is in one piece.

A friend of mine lost the end of a finger in a squat rack mishap back in our ball days. I wasn't there at the time but I did see the resulting aftermath.
Bench 185x3 didnt feel right 225x3 No power out of right shoulder. 275x3 315x3 Same. Super light, but arm is severly lagging behind.
Lowered weight and added MM. 135X3 225X3 No power out of right shoulder still. Calling it there.
Biceps.
I cant win. It is always something with bench. Absolutely no pain out of my inner shoulder but it feels like there is an extra 50 pounds on that side of the bar. I am going to research and see if I can find what the heck is going on.
