Thanks. I am getting pretty impatient myself to compete. I might go raw my first meet back, not too sure. Well belt and wraps-Not everyone sees this as raw, I do.

Reverse Band deadlift: x3 @8-9 Bands @ 5'7. Little assistance.
405x3@6 495x3@7 585x3@8 680x3@9 Pr! 585x3- Skip- 4 Tears in my hand on the 680 set. WTF.
Reverse Band close grip x5@8-9 225x2x3 warmup 315x1 Add bands 315x5@7 365x5@8 405x3@9... huh? 405x3@9 ..figured out why I was below what I had expected.
Today was a tough day to mentally get into weight training. My fiancee got her schedule for work changed and I had to train last night after a 15 hour day or work (3 hours travelling-12 hours working). I had ZERO energy and was yawning when I walked into the gym. I am glad I hit the PR'S i wanted to hit. My squats were absolutely buried. I couldnt hit 1mm more depth on any of the reps. I forget how hard bandsquats were since it has been a few weeks.
Deads- Again, was mentally and physically exhausted before starting these. The 25 reps on squats had my legs pretty beat up by this point. I was happy I was able to get up to 680 for the triple. Warming up I thought it was going to be a no go since everything felt heavier than normal. I forgot my long socks so i used duct tape on my shins. Got some wierd looks, but whatever. I wrote above about the tears in my hands. I actually got 4 nice cuts that feel pretty awesome when they get soap in them. I don't know If i grip the bar too tight (If this is possible) or what, but I always screw up my hands. I plan on using straps on reverse band pulls from now on since I do not have grip issues. No point getting my hands too sore to pull off the floor properly.
Close grip- I couldnt figure out why everything was so heavy when I was making huge gains lately until the end of my workout. Then I figured it out. I set the bands three holes lower than normal for some bizarre reason. The weights i used in that respect were pretty good since I took alot of the tension off of the bar. Not really what I wanted to do though. Was supposed to be lockout work, not heavy off of the chest as well. Oh well. I will double check next time.
To sum up this workout- NOT IN IT AT ALL.

Equipped 2 board bench: x3@8-9 First encouraging day in a shirt ever. 225x3x3 315x3@7 Add 47 katana 405x3@7 About 4" from chest 455x3@8 475x3@8 Touched, paused and pressed. Pr! Reps were smoked. 500x3@9.5 Misgrooved first rep. Pr anyways! Would have loved a 9 rpe. 500x3 video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82ZsUPMcKZo 475x3@8.5
Raw 1 board press: x3@8-9 225x3@6 275x3@7 315x3@7 350x3@8 Easy 8 390x3@9 Huge Pr! 385x2@9 Last time. 365x6@9 Another awesome Pr. Couldnt stop at 3.
Another awesome pressing day for me. Shirt work was good, but had its flaws as expected. 2nd time in it so I cant really expect much. I was hoping to hit 455x 3 today. 500x3 was way above the days expectations. Would have been nice to hit the 1st rep clean to get the set @9 rpe, but oh well.
1 board- These are going up rediculously fast. 390 felt light in my hands and was easy to press. Bar is jumping off of my chest like I have a loose shirt on. Never had power like this before. I enjoy doing raw work after equipped. Bar feels light after holding 500.
AWESOME DAY TODAY.

Equipped deadlifts: x5@8-9 225x5 315x5 405x5 500x5@7 Add Inzer fusion 500x1 600x5@8 675x3@9 Small Pr. Not too bad for misgrooving and sucking with this suit on. 600x5@8.5
Deadlifts- Learned a lot about my suit today. 1) Do not go over 2-3 reps 2)1st rep is ripped, then suit gradually rises up the legs and reduces support 3)Out of groove makes light lockout very difficult, even moreso than raw. 4)Cannot fill up with air for 1st rep, so suit it good for a big single pull. Gas after that trying to take little breathes.
600x5 was ripped. 675 was gutsy to go for 5@9. I think It would have been there but my second rep was out of groove which made it terribly hard to lockout. 1st rep felt like there was nothing in my hands.
Squats- Decided to mix things up and squat OLY style. Bar was high and reps were ATG. I forgot how much of a transisiton low bar to high bar makes. I used to squat high bar and havent done it since I started RTS. Very difficult.
Barbell curls were awesome. I took my clothes off and did them in the nude. Ok ok I lie. I hope the visual haunts you for the rest of the night.
Any tips on using the deadlift suit would be appreciated.

Yeah I thought it was just me. Just a tiny little bit of air is all you get. I guess for 1 rep it doesnt really matter, although the more air the tighter the chest and body, the more power. So maybe I just need to fill up on air, grab the bar, setup and lift in one motion. So Tron, you also find that lockout is tougher than raw when you are out of groove? Not sure if it just me.

Yes I think that it is definitely tougher in a suit if you are out of groove. A few reasons IMHO are:
- The suit has resisted you from getting in a good spot to begin with leaving you in somewhat of a stiff leg..
- You are out of position and the straps are holding you out of position, just like the straps can help hold you in a good position if you start off that way...
- and to make everything worse, the weight would tend to be a bit heavier, making recovering a bit harder than if raw..
Yeah you are right about the stiff leg. I see from watching my vid that my first rep is perfect position (which is why it looked so easy) and the next two reps are partially stiff legged. I guess I need to mentally plan out every equipped set from now on. Learn something new everyday!

Closegrip bench: +152C +MM X5@8-9 135X5@9 whooooaaaa! I thought this was going to be a warmup. 125x5@8.5 125x5@8.75 125x5@9
Barbell military press 135x5@7 185x5@7 205x5@8 Pr 230x5@10 Huge Pr. Never been even close to this. 205x6@9
Side lats 40's x 10,10
Doubled red pullaparts x15,13
Paused closegrip- Still getting stronger by the day it seems. 315 is starting to be a joke. 345 was a nice clean set, and a pr.
Chain and band close grip- This caught me off guard. The ammount of tension was unreal. I can see this building some awesome lockout power when I use my shirt. I just have to make sure to do my paused excercises with just weight, no bands and chains to keep the raw strength there as well. An awesome day all around. Even shoulders was way into new ground.

Only if you get the judges to allow me to squat super high so I can get a good total. APA type depth, so about 6 inches from lockout. Lol. What is the date stud?

Assuming the mill I am employed at is stil keeping its head above water, I will do my best to make it. No guarentees. Once a date is established, I will start training as if I am going to lift in it.
